Robert "Robbie" Earl Elmore

Robert Earl “Robbie” Elmore, 65, of Florence, SC passed away on Sunday, January 1. 2023. Robbie was the son of the late Louie E. Elmore and Harriett B. Elmore. Robbie loved the Florida Keys for diving and Santee Lake for skiing. He was employed in the hospitality industry. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Harriett Lee Elmore and his brother, Louie Franklin “Frank” Elmore of Greenville, SC. He is survived by his mother, Harriett; brothers, Mike (Debbie) Elmore of Cheraw and Ken (Kathryn) Elmore of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Lee Elmore of Greenville, SC; nieces, Marguerite Elmore and Sara Lawton Elmore, both of Greenville, SC; nephews, Baker (Anna) Elmore of Washington, DC and McCuen (Lauren) Elmore of Lancaster, SC, and beloved long-time companion, Heather Armentrout Mills of Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 14, 2023 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethea Baptist Church at Bethea Retirement Center, 157 Home Avenue, Darlington, SC 29532 or to a charity of one’s choice.
