Ronald Linwood Brown Florence, SC Ronald Linwood Brown, 71, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Rehoboth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mr. Brown was born in Florence County, SC a son of the late Willard James (Bill) and Annie Wilson Brown. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. He retired in 2007 from Smurfit-Stone after 44 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. and Mrs. Brown would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in May of 2012. Surviving are his loving wife, Helen Brown, of Florence; 3 children, Donna Samantha Hudnall of Conway, Ronald Wade Brown of Florence and Sarah Beth Gauvin of New Hampshire; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Hudnall, Kimberly Michelle Powell, Katelin Danielle Powell, Joshua Brown and Jonathan Hudnall; brother, Billy Brown of Florence; 2 sisters, Karen Love Smith of Florence and Saundra Tarlton of Darlington; a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
