ROSEMARIE MOORE SCHAFFER Florence, S.C. Rosemarie Moore Schaffer, 83, of Florence, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. Rosemarie was born in New York, New York, a daughter of the late James Moore and Gladys Rounds Moore.She worked as a Clerk for Nassau County in New York.She was a member of the Hibernians Irish Group, did volunteer work at Waterbury Hospital and attended St. Francis Church when she lived in Connecticut.Rosemarie attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence. Surviving are her daughter, Bernadette H. “Bunnie” (Michael) DeZinno of Effingham, SC and her son, Jeffrey Schaffer of Kentucky; step-sister, Melissa Solano of Century City, FL and a granddaughter, Jillian Schaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrien Schaffer and a sister, Gladys Reichle. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter, 3223 Sunset Boulevard, Ste 100, West Columbia, SC 29169. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 6, 2010 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
