Ruben T. Deas Jr.

Ruben T. Deas Jr., 89, of Florence SC, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born in Florence, SC, the son of the late Ruben Troy Deas Sr. and Susie Belle Earp Deas. Mr. Deas was an avid churchgoer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Donald Deas and Gerald Deas; brothers, Tim Deas and David Deas and sister, Rachel Jones. Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Ruth Lightsey Deas; sons, Mark Deas, Christopher (Krystal) Deas, Kevin (Kristie) Deas and Johnny Ruben Deas; daughters, Wanda (Randy) Reynolds, Tina Deas and Charman Locklair; grandchildren, Caleb (Jade) Deas, Cayla Locklair, Cameron Locklair, Donald Langley, Nikki Langley, Matt Rollins, Ethan Deas, Max Deas, Brooke (Devin) McAdoo, Hudson McAdoo, Tinsley Deas, Erin Deas and Wyatt Torado; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Palmetto Street Church of God.
