SALLY "VIRGINIA" RAY TERRY FLORENCE, SC SALLY "VIRGINIA" RAY TERRY, 63, of Florence, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mrs. Terry was born in Horry County, SC a daughter of the late Rufus Ray and Flossie Graham Ray.She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and retired in May of 2010 after 18 years as a licensing clerk for the SC Department of Motor Vehicles. Surviving are her husband of 38 years, John O'Dell Terry of Florence; children, Pamela Denise (Rick) Ratliffe and Andrea Holly (Erik) Shoemaker, both of Florence; grandchildren, Brittany Morgan Ratliffe, Blake Graham Ratliffe and Amber Grace Ratliffe, all of Florence; great-grandchild, Mark "Liam" Ratliffe of Florence; sister, Bobbie Jean Smith of Florence and two brothers, Gordon Rufus Ray of Aynor, SC and James Lee Ray of Timmonsville. The family suggests that memorials be made to the McLeod Hospice House, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502, www.mcleodfoundation.org. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Entombment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum.
