Sally Ann Woodbery, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on August 5, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1932, in Georgetown, South Carolina. Sally was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Sally was a woman of strong character and had a unique personality. She was known for being stubborn yet fiercely loyal to her loved ones. Sally had a heart full of generosity and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She had a deep love for animals and found joy in caring for them. Sally is survived by her daughters, Pamela Bell and Susan Williamson, her grandsons Christopher Hawver (Jennifer) and Justin Cox, her granddaughter Jennifer Phoebus (Keith) and her great-grandchildren Dean Hawver (Faith), Nicholas Hawver, Logan Phoebus, Mason Cox and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. Woodbery, Jr., her mother Berta S. Farris, her father Bethel R. Farris, and her son Steven Mark Woodbery. In memory of Sally's compassionate nature and love for animals, the family suggests contributions to be made to your local animal shelter, a cause that was close to Sally's heart. Sally Woodbery will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
