Sandra Dee Caso

Sandra Caso, 62, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. She was born in Dillon, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Cox and Hazel Cox. Ms. Caso served her community through her work as a cop. She was a crime scene investigator and a Guardian ad liten for Marion County. Ms. Caso loved traveling, especially to Hawaii. She was an adoring mother, grandmother, and “Nana”, who loved her family dearly. Surviving are her sons, John (Melissa) Hutchinson and David Hutchinson; daughter, Amber (Martin) Dickerson; grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson, Mekayla Darden, Justin Hutchinson, Rachael Hutchinson, Sophie Rettell, Xzavier Hutchinson, Jazmine Hutchinson, Martin Dickerson, and Bailey-Maebh Dickerson; and great-grandchildren, Dean Hutchinson and Haven Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Cox; and sister, Barbara Rowell. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Florence Humane Society P. O. Box 4808, Florence, SC 29502. A family led memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Salvation Army, 2210 Hoffmeyer Road, Florence, SC 29501.
