Sarah M. Coker

Sarah Margaret Coker, 83, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Coker was born the daughter of the late Roberta Springs White and Henry Mancy McCutcheon. She was the owner and operator of Parker’s Grocery for a number of years and was a member of Gospel Temple. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by husbands, C.M. Parker and L. W. Coker; son, David Coker; and sisters, Edna Broach, Leona Bradshaw and Evelyn Broach. Mrs. Coker is survived by her sons, Curtis Bradshaw (Cindy) and Scott Parker; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
