Sarah Anderson Lee

Sarah Anderson Lee, 89, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lee was born the daughter of the late Jettie Byrd Anderson and Eugene Anderson. She was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School. Mrs. Lee was a member of Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She loved to cook and will be remembered as a very loving wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Aaron Lee; brothers, Otis Anderson, Lupton Anderson, John L Anderson and Billy Anderson; and sister, Betty Lou Anderson Locklear. Mrs. Lee is survived by her children, Karen Jean Lee of Florence, SC, Aaron Kirk Lee of Reno, NV and Kelcy Lee of Columbia, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Original funeral service location at the church had to be changed due to a previously scheduled civic event. Burial will follow at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery in Coward directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a very special “Thank You” to McLeod Regional Medical Center and to The Heritage Home of Florence. Memorials may be made to Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church, 151 E.
