Sayori Lorraine Tidwell, 49, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. She was born to Glenn and the late Yoko Dyke, on March 12, 1975, at Fort Bragg, NC. Born as an army brat to a special forces dad, she lived in various places stateside as well as overseas. She was the baby sister of two older sisters, Robin Jeffords and Trish Pierce, who loved and doted over her. She grew up mostly in Florence, SC, after her father retired his military career. Mrs. Tidwell graduated from Wilson High School and went onto marry her sweetheart, Anthony Tidwell. She continued her education in occupational therapy. A year and one day later, Sayori gave birth to their son, Chandler. She became a full-time mom and student, graduating with a degree in occupational therapy. She was later employed as a cota. She enjoyed various hobbies like shopping, cooking, crafting on Pinterest and thrifting. She had a huge heart for the homeless and those in need and volunteered to serve food at Miracle Hill Ministries. She touched many hearts and will be missed by her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her mother. Surviving are her husband, Anthony J. Tidwell, of Macon, GA; father, Glenn E. Dyke, of Honea Path, SC; son, Chandler Tidwell, of Savannah, GA; grandchild, Ronin Tidwell, of Savannah, GA; and sisters, Robin Jeffords, of Florence, SC, and Patricia L. Pierce, of Honea Path, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Mount Hope Cemetery. Burial will follow after the service.
