Shanda Lynn Snowden

Shanda Snowden, 57, of Florence, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. Ms. Snowden, also known as “Shaneka”, was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Edward Keith Snowden and Carol Jean Wilson Snowden. She served her community through years of service as a paramedic. She was an avid gardener and gamecock fan, but most of all, she loved her family. Surviving are her sons, Hunter (Lori) Capps of Lafayette, TN and Blake Capps of Florence; grandchildren, Bransen Capps, Allie Warner, and Vera Capps; sister, Crystal Snowden of Florence; niece, Morgan Rabon and nephew, Jonathon Harrell, both of Florence; great-nephews, Blake Rabon and Bayler Rabon; and a special companion, Scotty Jones. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm Friday, November 25, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with graveside services to be held at 2:00 pm Friday at Florence Memorial Gardens.
