Shawn Denise King Hudson

Shawn Denise King Hudson, 67, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. She was born in Jackson, MO, the daughter of the late John W. King and Inez Bass King. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and “Gigi”, who adored her family. She was a doting grandma and “Gigi”, who loved to make memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her husband, Paul Hudson; son, Paul Timothy Hudson; daughter, Kristin (Jeffrey) Poston; grandchildren, Cole (Cayla) Poston, Sydney (C.J.) Stroud, Jarrett Poston, and Tryston Poston; great-grandchildren, Keeley Stroud, Della Stroud, and, soon to be, Emory Stroud. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to McLeod Hospice House, P.O. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the home of Cole and Cayla Poston, 2250 Timmons Road, Effingham, SC 29541.
