Shelby Jean Hanna Oliver

Shelby Jean Hanna Oliver, 76, affectionally known as “Mema”, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022. Mrs. Oliver was born the daughter of the late Mildred Grant Hanna and Odie Abel Hanna.She graduated from McClenaghan High School.She was an extremely talented person and was the owner of the “Granny Square”. She was a very active member of South Florence Baptist Church for nearly 30 years and loved her church family.She and her husband were former members of Christian Assembly and were dedicated to mentoring the youth while there. She loved fishing, sewing, cross-stitching, crafts and pencil arts.She also loved her Furbaby, Paco.Mrs. Oliver was a matriarch figure to her family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Oliver; son, Sheldon Russell Oliver and brother, Odie Hanna. Mrs. Oliver is survived by her son, Harry Oliver (Lavanda) of Galivants Ferry, SC; daughter, Sabrina Denise Henderson (Marvin Alan) of Florence; grandchildren, Justin K. Oliver, Joshua L. Oliver, Jake C. Oliver, all of Hartsville, Russell A. Henderson (Caroline) of Mary Esther, Florida; Cole Henderson of Florence, Sarah A. Henderson of Marion, Taylor DiBello (Connor) of Manning, SC, and Morgan DiBello of Virginia; and great-grandchildren, Hanna, Braxtyn, McKinlee, Madison, Anzlee, Layton and Riley. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022, at South Florence Baptist Church.Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM at the Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
