Shelby James Lee

Shelby James Lee, Sr., 80, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Mr. Lee was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Harry James Lee and Myrtle Driggers Lee.He was a former co-owner of L & M Frameworks and is the first of three generations of avid racers. Surviving are his wife, Patsy Jenkins Lee of Florence; son, Shelby James “Jamey” (Leslie) Lee, Jr.; daughter, Donna (Kent) Cady; grandchildren, Christopher “Dylan” Blue, Connor Lee, Addie Lee, Ashlyn Cady, Kyle Cady, and Kaylyn Cady; great-grandchildren, Harper Blue, Sawyer Blue, and Wilder Blue; brother, Larry Davis Lee of Scranton and a large extended family that he loved dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frank Monroe Scholarship Fund, Florence Baptist Temple, 2308 South Irby St. Florence, S.C. 29505. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Florence Baptist Temple with the service to be held at 12:00 noon at the church.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
