Sheldon Pete Poston

Sheldon “Pete” Poston,51, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Pete was born in Greensboro, NC, the son of Graham Lane and the late Patricia Gray Lane. He was a long-time automotive mechanic, and former owner/operator of Best Rate Auto and American Automotive. He was currently employed with North American Assemblies as Maintenance Lead. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by brother, David Lane and birth father, Pete Poston. Surviving are his son, Sheldon Andrew (Amanda) Poston; daughter, Maegan Ashleigh (LaVance) Bird; granddaughter, Kaydence Rose Bird; half-brother, Donnie Poston and father, Graham Lane.
