Shirley Dean Collins Florence, SC Shirley Dean Collins, 62 of Florence, passed away on Saturday, July 09, 2011 at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Collins was born in Horry Co., a daughter of the late John Willis and Pearline Brown Jordan.She retired from the SCDOT. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dolan Jordan and Leo Willis Jordan; and two sisters, Shelby Dean Smith and Vernontine Jordan. Surviving are her husband, Harvey Lee Collins of Florence; two daughters, Sherry Lynn Collins and Cheryl Collins both of Florence;special nieces, Nancy Jordan Day of Florence and Cassie Jordan of Loris; three sisters, Sylvia Dean Jordan and Nelma Jean Jordan both of Loris, Earline Collins of Florence; and two brothers, Johnny O. Jordan and James Willis Jordan both of Aynor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Mizpah Cemetery.
