Shirley Powell Guerrero

Shirley Powell Guerrero, 76, of Florence, SC passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Mrs. Guerrero was born in Marion County, SC a daughter of the late Taylor Lee Oscar Powell, Jr. and Blanche Richardson Powell. She retired after 26 years with D.S.S. Shirley was a dedicated wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Taylor Powell. Surviving are her husband, Nat Guerrero, Jr. of Florence; sons, Johnathan Guerrero, Jamie (Emily) Guerrero, and Jason Guerrero; grandchildren, Lucy, Graham, Dallas, and Gracie; sister, Gail (Ed) Reason; and aunt, Joann (Jerry) Gladden. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Chapel. Burial will follow in the cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
