Shirley Glover Pearson

Shirley Glover Pearson, 88, of Florence, SC, she was born on April 15, 1936, and she went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was born in Wilson, NC, the daughter of the late Watson Glover and Repsie Davis Glover. Mrs. Pearson was a member of Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and served in many positions and served with love. Mrs. Pearson was very dedicated to those positions. She was formerly employed at Florence schools. She also worked as an administrative secretary for a US Congressman. She most loved being a mother to her two boys and a homemaker for her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold Pearson and her sisters, Sue Bradshaw and Judy Pearson. Surviving are her sons, David (Katherine) Pearson, of Lexington, SC, and Larry (Nancy) Pearson, of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Ashley, Britney (Lance), Justin (Amber) and Tyler (Kat); great-grandchildren, Lilly, Annabeth, Brynn, Olivia, Griffin, Zeke, Jonah, Braylin, Brantley and Gatlin. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in the funeral home chapel. A burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
