Stella Twardowski Vajda Florence, SC Stella Twardowski Vajda, 89, of Florence, died Wednesday, February 02, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Vajda was born in Dupont, PA a daughter of the late John and Anna Kluck Twardowski.She was a faithful member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, John Joseph Vajda, who died November 11, 1997. She is survived by a son, Donald Vajda of Florence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date with the burial to follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
