Susan Elizabeth Brauss

Susan Elizabeth Brauss, 71, of Florence, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Ms. Brauss was born in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Clifford Heideman and Margaret Kelly Heideman. She was currently working as a Human Resource Specialist at McLeod Regional Medical Center and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford and Robert Heideman. Surviving are her sons, Keith Daniel (Minerva) Brauss and Jonathan Brauss, both of Florence, SC; daughters, Kimberly Brauss of Florence and Kathryn Brauss of Decatur, GA; grandchildren, Mia Ginfrida, Toboe Colburn, and Eliana Brauss; brother, Thomas (Marcia) Heideman of Overland Park, Kansas; sister-in-law, Mary Heideman of Dallas, Texas; nieces and nephews; and her extended Brauss family. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
