Sylvia Gale Player Berg

Sylvia Gale Player Berg passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a beloved wife/mother/grandmother/friend, known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for those around her. Sylvia lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She touched the lives of many with her warmth and generosity, always offering a helping hand and a listening ear. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alma Stilley Player and Hezikiah Damon Player; her husband, Arthur Howard Berg of 53 years; brother, Damon Player. She is survived by sons, Kevin (Robin) Berg and Barry (Dina) Berg; daughter, Sherrie (El) Jordan; grandchildren, Danielle Pierce (Matt) Ashkettle, Melissa Berg (Jason) Willoughby, Zackary (Amanda) Berg, Aaron Jordan, Bailee Berg, McKinley (Maggie) Jordan, and Madison (Andrew) Wiggins; 6 greatgrandchildren and one on the way in June. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sylvia’s kindness and love will remain in our hearts forever.
