Sylvia Waddell Bryan

Sylvia Waddell Bryan, 86, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. Mrs. Bryan born a daughter of the late Gladys Allen Knight and Herman B. Knight.She was an inspector with Union Carbide when she retired.She was very active in Belin United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sons, Jerry Waddell and Don Waddell; daughter, Diane Boley; brothers, Larue Knight, Joe Knight, Marion Knight, Bobby Knight, Rondal Knight, and Dan Knight; and sisters, Winnie McNeil, Willow Whoele, and Ivanel Knight. Mrs. Bryan is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Jennings Bryan, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Evans (Teddy) of Florence; brother, Michael “Mickey” Knight of Effingham; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, September 3, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family asks that all in attendance please wear masks.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
