Theodore Cornell Harvey

Theodore Cornell Harvey, 86, of Effingham, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Mr. Harvey was born in New Hope, SC, son of the late Charles Ney Harvey, Sr. and Lala Belle Brownlee Harvey. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a field engineer who retired from both IBM and Kodak. Theodore was a member of Effingham Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and Elder. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Lena Smith, Charles Ney Harvey, Jr., Margaret Griffis, Renkin Harvey, DeWitt Harvey, and Bernard Harvey; and his son, Jerry Harvey. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Kay Harris Harvey; his sons, Gerry (Diane) Harvey, Jeffrey (Maria) Harvey, Randall (Sharon) Harvey and David Harvey; daughter-in-law, Tammy Harvey; his grandchildren, Bryan, Aaron, Heather, Jessica, Thomas, Ted, and Joshua; and his great-grandchildren, Leia, Ryker, Cody, Claira, Noah, Landon, Charles, and Grayson. A memorial service will be held in the near future.
