Timothy Michael Cordle, 64, of Florence, South Carolina passed away on May 23rd, 2024. Tim was born at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina. Tim was the cherished son of Mary Kathryn Barnett and the late Harold Barton Cordle. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Dalzell, SC, and went on to serve proudly in the Army National Guard and the Civil Service in Alabama and South Carolina. Tim worked alongside his father in mechanical airplane repair before discovering his true passion for antiques. His keen eye and love for unique, quirky items made him a renowned Antique Dealer across the East Coast for close to 30 years. His adventures and the people he met along the way enriched his life and those who knew him. A devout Christian, Tim was a devoted family man, a generous friend, and a patriotic citizen who lived his life with unwavering faith and exemplary morals. He was an active member of Pisgah Methodist Church and the Pisgah Methodist Men’s Club, where he faithfully served God above all else. Known for his steadfast faith and moral compass, Tim believed in celebrating life's moments and always seeking the best in every situation. His generosity and kind nature was infectious to everyone around him. Surviving are his Girlfriend, Crystal “Christy” Schimek; mother, Mary Kathryn (Raymond) Barnett of Temple, GA; brothers, John (Terry) Cordle of Hickory Tavern, SC and Anthony Cordle of Sumter, SC; sister, Angela (Carlos) Berry of Belleair Beach, FL; and his beloved canine companion, Chance. Memorials may be made to Pisgah Methodist Church, 621 N Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC 29501. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, June 6th, 2024, at Pisgah Methodist Church with the memorial service to be held at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary. Graveside service to follow at Pisgah Methodist Church.
