Timothy David Carter. , 27, of Effingham, SC died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at a Florence hospital. Mr. Carter was born in Nash County, North Carolina, a son of Dr. Timothy Allen and "Libby" Elizabeth Stroud Carter. He was an active member of Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church and was also known as the" World's #1 Duke Fan". In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Tiffany McCutcheon Carter of Effingham; his daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Carter of Effingham; sisters, Laura Carter Floyd of Lake City, Karen Carter Rivenbark of Conway;brother-in-laws, John Robert Floyd of Lake City, Kenneth Rivenbark of Conway, Tim McCutcheon of Kingstree; sister-in-law Courtney McCutcheon of Coward; maternal grandparents, Kelly Ray (Mary Ellen) Stroud of Florence; nieces and nephews, Logan, Landon, Kaelin Floyd, all of Lake City and Shana Coward of Coward. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church officiated by Rev.Lanier Singleton and Rev.Joe Seay Burial will follow at Olanta Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
