Tony Dean Wiley

Tony Dean “Sawdust” Wiley, 62, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Mr. Wiley was born in Concord, NC a son of Dot Wiley Elvington and the late James Michael Wiley. Tony was a member of the Florence Elk Club and a member of the Darlington Moose Lodge. He worked in construction for over 40 years, currently as senior superintendent with FBI Construction. He loved his work, especially on historical sites. He was preceded in death by his father, and by two grandchildren, Logan Goodman and Josef Ballou. Surviving are his wife, Lori Leigh Chapman Wiley; daughter, Krista (J.D. Black) Wiley; step-daughter, Amy (Cliff) Ballou; grandchildren, Riley Lehman, McKinley Lehman, Britley Lehman, Kameron Ballou, and Khloe Ballou; mother, Dot; brother, Terry Michael (Carolyn) Wiley; sister, Sandra Jane (Joe) Summerlin. Memorials may be made to the Florence Elk Club, 2220 W. Jody Road, Florence, SC 29501 or to the Darlington Moose Lodge, 1056 N. Governor Williams Highway, Darlington, SC 29532. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Magnolia Cemetery, Hartsville, SC directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
