VendilIdell McKnight Broach Florence, SC Vendil Idell McKnight Broach, 84, of Florence, SC, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at a local Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Broach was born on September 23, 1927 in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Johnny McKnight and Eunice Miles McKnight.She was a member of China Grove Pentecostal Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudolph Edward Broach; a son, Lynn Allen Broach; and a daughter, Shirley Faye Miller. She is survived by her sons, Phillip Edward (Geraldine) Broach of Scranton, and Ronald Lansing Broach of Effingham; her daughters, Annette Harris of Fayetteville, NC and Teresa McPherson of Effingham; son-in-law, Thomas Miller of Darlington; brothers, Odell McKnight of Lake City, Sc and Irven McKnight of Scranton; a sister, Willaree Langston of Lake City, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 3:00p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
