Wendell H. Sarvis

Wendell H. Sarvis, 74, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born in Conway, SC, the son of Mary Cecil Martin Sarvis and the late Donnie Sarvis. He was a veteran of the United States Army and owned and operated Sumter St. Grocery for over 40 years. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his wife, Gail Stidham Sarvis. In addition to his mother; he is survived by his son, Stuart Sarvis; brother, Jeff (Paula) Sarvis; sisters, Jean Young and Diane McIntyre; and nieces and nephews, Taylor Sarvis Johnston, Collin Sarvis Raymond, Isabella Sarvis, Chad Young, Adam McIntyre, and Nichole Russell. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Greenwood Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the church.
