William Albert Moore Florence, S.C. William Albert Moore, 75, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Honorage Nursing Center. Mr. Moore was born November 4, 1935 in Sellers, SC, a son of the late Rev. William Stephen Moore and Sarah Elizabeth Owens Moore. He was the youngest of seventeen children. Mr. Moore was the previous owner/operator of Discount Auto Sales of Florence and Moore's Wholesale Cars of Columbia. He was a member of Love Life Ministry of Darlington, SC. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents; eleven brothers, Ander Moore, Howard Moore, Robert Moore, Joe Moore, Lester Moore, Steve Moore, Frank L. Moore, Paul Moore, Walter Moore, Frank Moore, and an infant baby brother; three sisters, Sally M. Christmas, Lula M. Campbell, and Lenna M. Butler. Surviving are his four sons, Perry (Sharon)Moore of Florence, Terry (Susan) Moore of Timmonsville, Tommy Moore of Florence, and Tony Moore of Florence; daughter, Michelle (Timmy) Driggers of Florence; ten grandchildren, Jason (Beth) Moore, Megan Moore, Dustin Moore, Tanya Moore, Stephanie Moore, Stephen Moore, Frankie Moore, Wynston Driggers, Landon Driggers, and Blaydon Driggers; five great-grandchildren, Langston Perry Moore, James Elizabeth Moore, Levi Moore, Caleb Moore, and Cayden Moore; mother of his children, Margaret K. Moore of Florence; brother, Thomas G. Moore of Florence; sister, Frances (Nick) Antonis of Kitty Hawk, NC; three sister-in-laws, Virginia Moore of Florence, Billie Moore of Columbia, and Alice Moore of Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the funeral Home, and at other times at the residence of Perry Moore.
