William "Bud" Edward Hickey, Jr.

William E. “Bud” Hickey Jr, 81, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. He was born the son of the late William E. “Bubba” Hickey Sr. and Merideth Turner Hickey. Bud was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He retired from EDPew timber company as an office manager. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife Janet A. Hickey; brother, David Mitchell Hickey Sr. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lawrence Hickey; son, William Edward “Trey” Hickey III and a daughter, Erin Hickey Crosby (Terry) both of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Corey Crosby (Shay), Becca Crosby, Wyatt Crosby; brother, Ed Hickey (Sandy) of Florence, SC; sister, Emma Huggins of Florence, SC. A family led celebration of life will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
