William "C.D." Watson

William Charles Douglas, “C.D.” Watson, passed away Thursday, August 08, 2024. Mr. Watson was born in Florence, S.C., the son of the late Charles Dale Watson and Betty Jho Gillion. He was an excellent Appliance Technician, mechanic and a jack of all trades. C.D was definitely a people person, he never met a stranger. C.D’s passion for leading people to Christ was strong. He’d ask, “how many fish did you catch this week?” the season of his and Sallys Street ministry, the Lord’s Harvest, was the beginning of their platform to share Jesus. They both had a heart for evangelism. They flowed together zealously in the ministry of reconciliation. C.D was always willing to lend a helping hand, especially when it came to all his trades. Cars were his favorite though. C.D has touched many lives in many ways. Surviving are his wife, Sally Hite Watson; brother, Jay (Donna) Watson; sister, Betty (Timmy) Wells and Bernice Flynn; step-mom, Katie Watson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at the Anointed Outreach Ministry on September 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM. A poem for C.D A limb has fallen from the family tree I keep hearing a loving voice that says please don’t grieve for me remember only the good times, the best times remember all the laughter remember my jokes remember the songs that I love to sing remember the good life I lived while I was strong. Don’t grieve for me.
