William E. Snowden

WILLIAM E. SNOWDEN FLORENCE, S.C. WILLIAM E. SNOWDEN, 84, of Florence, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. Mr. Snowden was born in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William O. and Margaret Shannon Snowden. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and had retired after 35 years of service as Traffic Manager for LTV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Snowden. Survivors include 2 sons, William (Candy) Snowden of Buffalo Grove, IL and Timothy (Peggy) Snowden of Putnam, IL; 2 daughters, Diane (Tom) Hayes of Knoxville, TN and Linda (Dave) Kraftzenk of Dunlap, IL; one brother, David (Faith) Snowden of Florence, SC; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2012 in the Mary Alice Ingram Chapel at The Methodist Manor, 2100 Twin Church Road, Florence, SC.The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, Florence, SC.
