William Dayton Glover

William “Bill” Dayton Glover, 56, of Florence, SC went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was the loving son of Patricia Seawell Adkins Glover and the late Dayton Ronald Glover. He was born in Richmond, VA and was a service manager for Mosely Outdoor Power and Equipment. Bill brought a smile to everyone that he met, enjoyed joking around and making others laugh, and was the light in everybody’s life. Bill liked fishing, Nascar races, grilling out, playing the piano, drums, and guitar, and having a good time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all. Surviving are his mother, Pat; his loving companion of 23 years, Tonnie Schamburek; daughters, Alyssa Glover (Tyler Timmerman) of Dawsonville, GA, Brittany Schamburek of Hartsville, SC, and Emerald Schamburek of Florence; grandsons, Zayden Lee Timmerman and Leeland Curry; sister, Marcia (John) Hutto of Florence; nephews, Lee (Ellen) Barton, II of Charleston, SC and Dayton (Mallory) Barton of San Antonio, TX; great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Nicholas and Adalynn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his four legged friend, Ellie. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Christ Point Church, 800 King Avenue, Florence, SC at 2:00 pm officiated by Rev. Jim Fincher. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
