William Charles Valentine

William Charles Valentine, 80, passed away Thursday August 11, 2022. Mr. Valentine was the son of Irving and Phyllis Valentine. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Dorothy, daughter Dorothy Striblen, Son-in-law Steven Wright, and daughter in-law Carlota Valentine. Surviving are his wife Barbara, his children Laura Valentine Wright of Fox Lake, IL., David Valentine of Niles, IL., Deborah Valentine (Paul) Shea of Pembroke Pines, FL., Daniel Valentine (Cristina) of Buffalo Grove, IL., Grand children Gary, Jim, Barbara, Sophia, Maria, Jimmy, Justin, and Jennifer. Great grandchildren Alexis and Geo, Daniel and Laura, and Ernie. Brothers Irving (Judy) Valentine of Liviona, MI., Jim (Carol) Valentine of Liviona, MI., and John (Laurel) Valentine of Satellite Beach, FL., sister Barbara (David) Murphy of Clearwater, FL and best friend, Grover Norwood. Mr. Valentine was a successful businessman in the Blueprinting and Paper Co field, where he was the founder of Chicago Diazo paper company, as well as a blueprint company in the Midwest. He was the Director of Hendersonville mission in Hendersonville, NC where he was a pastor at Bear Wallow Baptist Church for three years, and a deacon at Mud Creek for ten years. He used his pastoral abilities to rebuild small congregations in North Carolina. Most recently, he worked as the pastoral care at Florence Baptist Temple. A private family gathering with his wife and children will be held at a later date.
