William Warren Kelly

William Warren Kelly, of Florence, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He is the son of the late Charles Edward Kelly and Viola Feagin Kelly. William was a graduate of Saint John's High School. Following high school, he served his country with honor in the U.S. Army Airborne, earning accolades for his exceptional marksmanship. William retired after 25 years as a DJ for WDAR Radio in Darlington, where he shared his love for music with many. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred King Kelly; brothers, Charles Kelly and Ted Kelly; sisters, Mildred Kelly Lambert, Marjorie Kelly Mahon, and Katherine Kelly Talbert. Surviving are his daughter, Audrey (James) Elliott, honorable son Randy (Georgia) Beasley, Elizabeth Beasley Daniel Beasley; grandchildren, Rachael (Hunter) Elliott Wilkes and Kelly Elliott; cousins, Terry Lewis, Bennett, Rhonda Lewis, Linda McCall, Tanya Mahon, and Brenda Kelly. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service Friday, January 3rd, 2025 at 1:00 PM located at Grove Hill Cemetery, Darlington, SC.
