Winifred Joyce Nolte

WINIFRED JOYCE NOLTE Florence, SC Winifred Joyce Nolte, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away on June 28, 2011. Mrs. Nolte was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Maurice Joyce and Emma Cannon Joyce.She was an accomplished musician and a member of the Eastern Star, having played the piano forEastern Star events for more than 40 years. Mrs. Nolte was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Carl Robert Nolte, Jr., and her brother, Maurice Joyce. Surviving are her three sons, Robert and John Nolte, both of Frederick, MD and Fred (Kathy) Nolte of Owings,MD;four grandsons, Dan Nolte, Jeff Nolte, Sam Nolte and Jim Nolte; three granddaughters, Kelley Cartwright, Sarah Brechbuehl and Katie Frushour; a sister, Ruth (Joe) Shinn of Illinois and ten great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. A memorial service and burial will be held at a date to be determined by the family.
